Worst Career Moment
Because he had not recovered properly from a physically demanding period, Jan’s work began to suffer greatly. From this he learned the valuable lesson that we must take care of ourselves both physically and mentally, as each supports the other.
Career Highlight
Jan inherited a team during his Microsoft tenure, that was not performing especially well, but through unlocking the potential in each team member, he formed a powerhouse group that began to thrive and excel.
The Future
Jan would encourage people to start new companies as the sector is moving so quickly now that ideas can be taken from theory to the market in a far more rapid time than has ever been possible in the past.

Jan’s wish is to help others discover more about themselves and better shape their futures. Aside from this, his ambitions all lie in the sporting world – namely tennis, which has been a lifelong passion.

Emotional intelligence, which has been a hugely important part of Jan’s success in inspiring teams.
What do you do to keep your own career energized?
Jan is dedicated the listening to, and following, people he considers to be the smartest in the room. This helps him to perpetually grow and develop.

Jan engages in sport, breathing exercise, meditation, walking, and consuming information through Clubhouse and podcasts.
