1) Test the waters before diving into something new. Vanessa tried coding for about three months before deciding that it was the career path she wanted to pursue. Overall, it took Vanessa over a year before she secured her first job.
2) Career switching is a marathon not a sprint.

Vanessa doesn’t have a worst career moment yet. However, she found that the process of switching careers was very challenging. She is now very happy that she did.

Vanessa would do the same thing and follow the self-taught path.

To become a really goofs front end developer and become irreplaceable.
What’s the number one non-technical skill that has helped you in your career so far?
Being communicative. Respect other people’s time.
What do you do to keep your own career energized?
Outside hobbies such as rock climbing.
What do you do in your spare time away from technology?
Weightlifting and do it yourself projects.
