Worst Career Moment

When Kyle began freelancing, he obtained a client who called him constantly during his free time, trying to micromanage remotely, which led to Kyle having to renegotiate and compromise in order to take some sense of control back over the situation.

Career Highlight

In 2015, when Kyle found his first client. It was the realization that a small investment, well made, can often reap rich rewards.

The Future

Anything is possible in the world of technology and IT. We are seeing teenagers with radical ideas, able to take those ideas to market and become wealthy for life. The landscape of IT is currently making anything possible.

Kyle has always been interested in problem-solving and marketing, both of which feature prominently in an IT career.

What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?

To go the extra mile, and to always overdeliver where possible.

What is the worst career advice you’ve ever received?

That freelancing is dead!

If you had to begin your career again in today’s world, what would you do?

Kyle would like to be in the same space in business, but also learn other skills such as psychology, sales, and niche markets.

What career objectives are you currently focusing on?

To help people and to make money while doing so. Kyle’s main goal is teach people how to create content and gain clients.

What’s the number one non-technical skill that has helped you in your career so far?

Aside from curiosity and inquisitiveness, Kyle has also found that owning up to errors is the best way to move forward and learn from a situation.

What do you do to keep your own career energized?

Consistency and discipline have helped to keep the goals ahead in sight.

What do you do in your spare time away from technology?

Sports, especially tennis and squash. Spending time with family, playing chess and always learning more from various sources.
