2 Top Career Tips
1) Never be afraid to say that you don’t have the answer to a question. Ask for time to learn the answer, and by doing so, not only will you bolster your knowledge, but you will fulfil their need. The worst thing to do is to pretend you know everything.
2) The best way of furthering your career is to never stop and never give up. Speed isn’t important, but perseverance is. Keep going and keep that career momentum alive.

Worst Career Moment
After missing out on a job opportunity, Danny felt distraught as he felt he had done everything right. But soon afterwards, he found an even better position – one he could not have taken if the original job had worked out. Also, taking responsibility for a huge programming error allowed him to develop and move forward.
Career Highlight
What matters is being the best developer possible. By endeavouring to meet this criteria, he has found that advancement comes naturally. His personal favourite achievement has been enabling over 70 others to enter the tech sector.
The Future
IT will do nothing but expand and grow in the foreseeable future, bringing new innovations and experiences to people, globally. The exciting part is that Danny will be on the vanguard of bringing these changes to the world.

What first attracted you to a career in I.T.?
The ability to bring stability to his life. This was a missing component in Danny’s former career, but IT provides security and a work/home life.
What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Everyone has problems. We need to focus upon how we, as individuals, approach and face them.
What is the worst career advice you’ve ever received?
To not share code and get feedback throughout our experience as coders. By not collaborating and gaining feedback, we can never know if we’re going wrong.
If you had to begin your career again in today’s world, what would you do?
Danny is very happy with his journey so far, so wouldn’t change a thing. If anything, he would have joined the sector earlier.
What career objectives are you currently focusing on?
To inspire others to help others, to create a ripple effect throughout the industry, in order to help others raise themselves. Becoming the best coder that he can be is a personal ambition.
What’s the number one non-technical skill that has helped you in your career so far?
Networking is crucial. Never be afraid to meet others, build your network, and use it to your advantage.
What do you do to keep your own career energized?
The journey of learning never ends. The joy of IT, and the thing that keeps Danny energized, are the endlessly creative opportunities for growth and development.
What do you do in your spare time away from technology?
Community activities, and positively impacting the local area is very important. Danny also loves to spend time with his family to whom he credits his ambition.
